The NHS Northern Gambling Service provide specialist addiction support and treatment to people affected by gambling addiction and mental health problems.

The service, run by Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, includes psychologists, therapists, psychiatrists and mental health nurses who work to deliver specialist addiction therapy and recovery. The service offers one-to-one cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and group sessions either face-to-face, online or over the phone. It also supports families and carers whose relatives have a gambling addiction.

  • ”Any door is the right door”, which means people can be referred in through a number of routes no matter where they are or who they are receiving help from. People can also self-refer.
