We hold a variety of events throughout the year to share the latest developments and findings on work to reduce and prevent gambling harms. This includes webinars and our annual conference.

Annual conference

Each year we host our annual conference, which is a leading event in the gambling harms calendar. Our annual conference brings together experts and voices from across:

  • the public health sector
  • the lived experience community
  • research and academia
  • education
  • the prevention and the treatment sector

The theme for the 2023 conference, which took place in December, was 'A new chapter: working together to deliver gambling reform'. Over 400 people attended the event.

Our 2024 annual conference will be taking place on Wednesday 4 December. More details will be announced soon.

Throughout the year, we host a range of events and webinars.

Our webinars cover a wide range of topics around gambling prevention and treatment. They are a great opportunity to share developments in our prevention work, as well as hear from experts across different sectors.

2024 Annual GambleAware conference

Date: Wednesday 4 December 2024, 09.00 - 16.00 (networking session 16:00 - 17:00)

Location: The King's Fund, London

The theme of this year's conference is 'Building the bridge: a once in a generation opportunity to prevent gambling harm'.

We are pleased to confirm that we will be hearing contributions from the Minister responsible for Gambling. As well as a range of other leading voices from academic, charity and public health.
